Get up close and personal with the beautiful scenery and fascinating wildlife of Haleakala National Park on this 9-hour, small-group, hiking trip. Travel on your own two feet as you walk 6 miles round-trip, heading down into the volcano crater along sliding sands trail before making the moderately-challenging return trip back uphill on the same route. As you hike you'll observe a variety of native Hawaiian plants and animals, including the local shrubs and forest birds. Snacks and hotel or port pickup are also covered.
