The Ice Caves are located approx. 60 km South of Salzburg near the village of Werfen.

• Important: You must be prepared with suitable shoes, warm clothing and be prepared for a short uphill walking!
• During the peak season in July and August and especially during midday from 10 am to 2 pm and as a bad-weather alternative, there can be large crowds. There may be waiting times at the ticket office or at the lift!
• The cave tours start directly at the cave entrance. The first tour of the day is held as soon as visitors arrive. Tours are scheduled at least every full and half hour with additional tours as needed.
