What To Expect

Vatican Museums and St Peter's Basilica tour:Meet your guide in Vatican City to begin your combo tour of Rome's two most historical and iconic attractions. With your skip-the-line ticket, enter the Vatican Museums through a reserved door for exclusive tour partners, avoiding the long entrance lines, even the priority ones. Follow your guide around the museum complex, home to the world's most renowned collection of art, from Renaissance masterpieces to classic statues. Dozens of rooms and galleries are housed here, and you'll visit the most well known, including the Gallery of Maps, Gallery of Tapestries and Gallery of the Candelabra, learning about the histories of these rooms and their contents as you go. Admire the Pinecone Courtyard and Raphael's Rooms before finally arriving at the Sistine Chapel, where you can gaze up in wonder at Michelangelo's famous 16th-century ceiling fresco, The Creation of Adam, as well as The Last Judgment wall fresco. Your tour comes to an end here, from where you can continue exploring on your own. Please note: During the low season, the itinerary described operates in reverse.
