What To Expect

Following pickup from your hotel in the northern part of St Lucia, transfer to the marina to meet your boat. Climb aboard the comfortable catamaran to meet your friendly crew, then find a spot to enjoy the scenery as you leave the harbor. Enjoy the warm Caribbean sunshine and light breeze out on the water as you sail past St Lucia's picturesque coastline. As you approach Soufriere, see the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Pitons come into view. The volcanic plugs, named Gros Piton and Petit Piton, loom over the charming town, creating a dramatic landscape. Disembark in Soufriere to explore some of its most famous attractions, like the Diamond Botanical Gardens and the famous Sulphur Springs. Billed as the world's only drive-in volcano, this site has bubbling warm mineral pools and mud baths that are said to have healing properties. Continue to Morne Coubrail Estate, a historic sugar and cocoa plantation. Take a walk through the lush grounds, learn about the plantation's activities in its heyday, and sip some fresh cane juice.A buffet lunch of Creole cuisine is next, served in the plantation's open-air dining room (please see Itinerary section for a sample menu). Climb back on the catamaran and set sail for a secluded cove, where you can swim in the warm, calm waters of the Caribbean. Enjoy lovely views of the legendary beach at Marigot Bay. On the way back to the harbor, dance to lively island rhythms and sip a local rum punch.
