Get an insider's view of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains and Hunter Valley wine region with your expert guide there to make your tour an exceptional experience.Visit Blue Mountains National Park, Wollemi National Park, Hunter Valley wineries and restaurants, and stay overnight in deluxe accommodations in the quaint towns of Katoomba and Pokolbin. Have free time in both the Blue Mountains and the Hunter Valley, and several optional activities offered each day. Includes accommodations, two breakfasts, two lunches, wine tastings, and transportation.ItineraryDay 1 The Blue Mountains National Park is one of seven national parks that make up the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. This wonderland of sandstone outcrops, deep ravines and hazy blue eucalypt forests boasts luxury retreats and stunning views. This morning your guide will take you off the beaten track to visit remote lookout locations and discuss the history, flora and fauna of this magnificent region.7.00- 7.30AM Departing from the city we travel directly to the Blue Mountains and our first stop of the day is at Euroka Clearing located deep in the National Park. Here there is abundant birdlife to be found and it's also home to wild kangaroos. We have time to wander at leisure to see if we can spot any of these beautiful native animals. Your guide will prepare a refreshing morning tea or coffee for you with some local delicaciesFrom Euroka Clearing we continue to ascend the Blue Mountains via the highway. We will visit one of a range of stunning outlooks of the Jamison Valley seeing beautiful vistas. Where possible this will be away from the crowds of tours that visit the mountains each day with other operators, thus our guests will enjoy a stress and hurry free environment taking in the views and information imparted by their guide. Continuing on we arrive at Eaglehawk Lookout, a remote lookout point away from the crowds for views of the famous 3 Sisters. Whilst the Blue Mountains features so much more than this natural attraction you can't help but admire the unquestionable beauty of this amazing rock formation. The character of the Three Sisters changes throughout the day and throughout the seasons as the sunlight brings out the magnificent colours. Here your guide will discuss the legends behind this famous rock formation and time available for you to take some great photos.From here, you are taken to your accommodation to check in. The remainder of the day at is free at leisure to relax and explore. Lunch is own cost today.Day 2 In the morning, we will collect you at 8:30am and travel around the mountains, stopping at Govetts Leap for spectacular Escarpment views. We then continue on to the delightful Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens where we have a short walk through the gardens enjoying expansive views followed by morning tea/coffee refreshments. From here, we make our way through to Bilpin and then into the Wollemi National Park to Putty and on to the Hunter Valley. On arrival, we enjoy a delightful lunch with glass of wine at a Vineyard Cafe followed by a visit to a boutique winery for tastings. We then deliver you to your accommodation to enjoy the remainder of afternoon and evening relaxing at leisure.Day 3 After breakfast time to relax.Approximately 11.15am "“ 11.30am you are collected from your accommodation to re-join the wine tour and continue onto Leogate Estate. This opulent cellar door is the perfect place to enjoy that unique taste which only the Hunter Valley and their award winning wines can provide. All wines produced from the great vines of one of the most highly regarded vineyards in Australia. Here we will enjoy a selection of cheeses to accompany the wine tasting, followed by a tour of the onsite winery to learn of the wine making process.On conclusion of the tour, we enjoy a relaxing 2 course lunch (selection of platters, followed by dessert of choice) accompanied by a glass of wine. Further beverages can be purchased at own expense.After lunch, we enjoy a stop at the Hunter Village where here you have the options of visiting the Chocolate Shop for sampling and perhaps a decadent purchase or two!... explore the boutique shops or enjoy a final wine tasting at the local Cellar Door. From here we commence our return to Sydney to arrive back at your hotels approximately 5 "“ 5.30pm.Please note: From July 1, morning tea at Euroka Clearing will be replaced by a visit to Calmsley Hill Farm to see Native Australian Animals.
