Cycling Strongholds in Julian Alps Tour from Bovec

This cross country cycling tour will take you to Carinthia Strongholds - from Predel pass (1156m) to Bovec town (454m), through Triglav National Park and Julian Alps. You'll ride mainly downhill on asphalt roads from forts on Predel, pass the sleeping lion to spectacular Koritnica valley. Then you'll head for 30 min uphill on gravel road, along exceptionally Možnica valley, nestled under spectacular Mt. Jerebica (2125m) and Mt. Rombon (2207m). Historic little fortress awaits your admiration in the middle of a forest meadow, close to Nemālja waterfalls. After a little rest you'll return the same way and head to Kluže and see Kluže fortress and museum. On Carinthia cycling tour you'll overcome 260 feet (800m) vertical difference in unspoiled nature.
