Non-EU citizens, in addition to a driver's license from their home country, must also provide an International Driver's license, or alternatively, an official translation of your home country's license.
• Should local police stop the car for any reason and you are not in possession of the correct documentation, you could be subject to a ticket. Prior to booking, ask the relevant office in your home country what documentation you need to drive in Italy.
