Globoski Potok Creek Canyoning Experience from Bovec

Parking in village Žaga is about one hour long scenic uphill hike away from vertical GloboÅ¡ki potok canyon. The creek's source is under Velika baba mountain or Baba grande (2160m) and drops over 10m to 45m tall cliffs covered with mossy carpets. Apart from one possible crazy 8m slide this canyoning tour is about abseiling in nature adventure. Standing on a jammed rock boulder above the last cascade of three 20m to 30m tall waterfalls, surrounded with growth, you'll enjoy open views to Italy, Uāja gorge and Stol mountain ridge, a popular paragliding destination. Crystal clear water will be your descending companion until it flows into Uāja river and you tramp back to the village.
