Get an early start with a morning pickup from hotels in central Sydney, and then head north in a comfortable climate-controlled coach, leaving the city via Sydney Harbour Bridge.Stop at the Australian Reptile Park, located about an hour outside of Sydney. Walk through informative displays that showcase a variety of species, including Australian native animals, such as Tasmanian devils, platypus, wallabies, and wombats.After approximately 45 minutes at the park, continue your scenic drive to Port Stephens, stopping in Nelson Bay where you have about one hour on your own for lunch (own expense) before taking your afternoon dolphin cruise.Enjoy a 1.5-hour afternoon dolphin-watching cruise that takes you directly to the best spots for sighting wild bottlenose dolphins. Learn about these playful creatures from your onboard guide, and enjoy fantastic views of the Tomaree and Yacaaba headlands as well. Your cruise also provides complimentary tea, coffee, and biscuits.Back on land, a 4WD-vehicle picks you up for an adventure at the Stockton Bight Sand Dunes. Ride off-road around the expansive landscape of dunes, which are part of Australia's biggest sand dune system, with some measuring more than 100 feet (30m) tall.
