As a result of movements in the area of the first column, the cable car between Blauherd - Rothorn had to be taken out of service on 30.03.2018.Currently, geologists, civil engineers and train construction engineers are busy in developing the basics of possible measures. The product is currently unavailable as unfortunately the operation of the cable car between Blauherd and Rothorn will not be possible in summer 2018.See the Matterhorn and the Valais Alps from the Rothorn peak in Zermatt. With a round-trip ticket to the summit, you'll travel on the fast Sunnega funicular, an 8-man gondola, and a cable car, enjoying sweeping alpine views as you go. Once at the top, how you spend your time is up to you. Hike along the Peak Collection trail to see its alpine sculptures, check out the flower trail from Blauherd, or just sit and soak up the Matterhorn views.
