What To Expect

Receive a morning pickup from your accommodations in Santiago. You'll travel aboard an air-conditioned minivan, heading to the scenic Maipo Valley, tucked away at the foot of the Andes Mountains. Spend the rest of the day enjoying the beautiful surroundings, tasty wines, and elegant estates of this three high-end wineries. You'll make visits to the Concha y Toro Winery, Undurraga Winery, and Santa Rita Winery, enjoying tours and three wine tastings at each. A full a run-down of the itinerary at each winery is detailed below. For those guests who are interested in upgrading their trip, a picnic lunch or a 4-course meal at a sit-down restaurant are available at Santa Rita Vineyard. The picnic includes chairs and a blanket plus chips, a board with cheeses and cold cuts, a premium sandwich, nuts, homemade cookies, fruit, mineral water and premium wine. The sit-down lunch includes an appetizer, juice or drinks, an entree, reserve wine, side dishes, salad, and dessert. You'll be transported back to Santiago at the end of your three tasting stops.ItineraryUndurraga VineyardUndurraga was one of the first vineyards in Chile with vines specially imported from France and Germany. In 1903, Undurraga Vineyard became the first Chilean vineyard to export to the United States and later in 1930, started exporting to all Latin America. You will have time to taste wines and explore sights like Undurraga family park and the Aliwen corner, which chronicles the culture of Chile's Mapuche indigenous group. After, you will see the wine making operation and visit the centennial underground cellars in Santa Ana de Talagante, where you'll do a tasting of three reserve wines. Once finished, each visitor gets to keep their wine tasting glass as a gift, and in the wine shop you'll have the opportunity to purchase the red, white, and sparkling wines from the Undurraga brand portfolio, as well as fun souvenirs.Santa Rita VineyardBegin your guided tour of Santa Rita by taking a closer look at the winery's vineyards and learning about the wine bottling process. Then visit the historic "Bodega 1" and the famous "Bodega de los 120 Patriotas." The tour finishes with an amazing wine tasting of some great aged vintages. After that you'll have time to buy some souvenirs or if you prefer, a bottle of wine to have later. Optional picnic and lunch options are also available.Concha y Toro VineyardConcha y Toro is recognized worldwide as one of the top wine producers and exporters in Latin America, as well as one of the top ten wine companies in the world. The company has reached popular recognition mainly because of its wines "Casillero del Diablo" and Don Melchor. You'll visit the winery's gardens and park, and admire the exteriors of the summer residence of the Concha y Toro family, built at the end of the 19th century. You will also learn about the origin of Concha y Toro wine at the Garden of Varieties, a place with 26 grape strains. Visit to the vineyard of Old Pirque, offering a panoramic view of the Maipo valley from the vineyard terrace. Finish by visiting the cellar of the legendary wine "Casillero del Diablo" (The Devil's Locker) to learn the story about the beginnings of this iconic brand. You'll also enjoy three tastings.
