I'm an artist and 10-year resident of San Francisco. I studied visual art at South China Normal University and Sonoma State University. My work is a dynamic encounter with nature, perception and the many challenges that lead us towards a place of insight and learning. My more recent work explores meditative states and healing arts. I paint as I live - with the intention of showing that life is about realizing possibilities.

Reward yourself with some much-needed time to reflect, renew and re-imagine what's possible, and do it enjoying all the good vibes of tan ocean walk just before sunset - and in the company of your self-discovery tour guides: The Garage Girls, two professional story coaches, who are experts at helping their clients discover the incredible power of their life stories as well as the idea that YOU ARE THE AUTHOR OF THEM. Even if you don't consider yourself a writer, but would like to reconnect with your creative side (and some cool like-minded people), experience a few inspiring hours at the beach! Transportation and organic wine and/or bottled water are included. One departure time on either Thursdays or Saturdays is offered.

There's hardly a better place to learn to surf than the Southern California locale of Santa Barbara, which offers fantastic weather year-round. During this 1.5-hour lesson, an expert instructor shows you how to stand up on your surfboard and balance, offering tips on how to catch the perfect wave while ensuring your safety in the water. Wetsuit and surfboard rental are included, and all skill levels are welcome.

Paddle, pop-up and ride a wave with a 1.5-hour surf lesson at La Jolla Shores, one of San Diego's most scenic beaches. Learn the basics on the sand, then head into the water with expert instructors and a group of beginning surfers. Catch breaking sets as you surf alongside your instructors, and perfect your technique with their tips and advice. Watch for the dolphins and sea lions that live along the Pacific Coast, enjoy San Diego's famously warm water, and get an unforgettable taste of California's most iconic sport.
