Flavors of Hawaii -- Foodie Experience

Overview
We travel through the cultural landscapes of Waimea, to a coffee farm at the base of MaunaKea and beyond to discover the true richness of Hawaiian Cuisine. We will see and taste how Hawaiian Food has evolved through time, from fascinating ancient farming techniques, to modern agriculture practices, to raising organic Berkshire Pigs sustainably. We will taste and experience how the introduction of new cultures and foods from around the world, has evolved local cuisine into the rich and varied palette that it is today. Hawaiian Cuisine is so richly varied that what we call "Hawaiian Food" means different things to different people. This tour will allow you to experience a behind-the-scenes, taste bud educational experience that will heighten your senses and delight your palate. Your final stop will be a Three Course Meal with a glass of wine at Pueo's Osteria with Chef James Babian.
